Sega and Atlus have announced that Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027, following its latest trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase.
The remake reimagines the acclaimed RPG with enhanced visuals, improved gameplay, modern aesthetics, and quality-of-life updates. Persona 4 Revival will launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, cloud, and Game Pass, with Xbox Play Anywhere support confirmed.
Return to Inaba
Persona 4 Revival brings players back to Inaba, a quiet rural town in Japan surrounded by hills, farmland, and rivers.
It’s a cozy place on the surface, but that calm hides a series of gruesome murders and the mystery of the Midnight Channel, a strange broadcast said to appear on rainy nights.
The Xbox Wire post highlights several familiar locations, including the Central Shopping District, Junes, Samegawa Flood Plain, Shichiri Beach, and the Amagi Inn.
Familiar Faces Return
The story follows a second-year high school student sent to live with his uncle, Ryotaro Dojima, and cousin, Nanako, in Inaba.
He’ll join Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi, Marie, and others as they investigate the murders and the supernatural forces behind them.
Battles, Bonds, and Daily Life
Persona 4 Revival keeps the series’ mix of school life, social bonds, and turn-based combat.
Players will balance friendships, part-time jobs, school activities, and dungeon exploration while using Personas to fight Shadows, exploit weaknesses, and unleash All-Out Attacks.
Pre-orders include the P3R & P5R Extra BGM Set for early purchasers.
