Imperfect Games and Lunarium Game Studio have announced that Lunarium will launch for PC via Steam on July 29, 2026. The hand-drawn isometric ARPG follows two young women, Ave and Lune, as they fight to restore their collapsing homeland.
Lunarium will cost $17.99 and will support English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
Ave and Lune Fight Together
Lunarium centers on dual-protagonist gameplay. Ave fights as a swordmaster, using timed parries and dodges to counter incoming attacks. Lune supports her with magic, helping weaken enemies and create openings during fights.
Players can build Resonance Points in combat to improve synergy between the two leads and push back against tougher enemies.
Charms, Skill Trees, and Boss Fights
Players can equip charms called Embroideries to gain passive combat bonuses. Materials found during exploration can also be used to improve equipment at the Temple, which acts as a safe space away from the chaos outside.
Across areas like the Forest, ruined Castle, and dreamlike Archipelago, players will face ancient golems, mutated creatures, and bosses. Defeating them helps upgrade Ave and Lune’s skill trees with new abilities.
A Story of Memory and Identity
Lunarium’s story focuses on memory, selfhood, and meaning as Ave and Lune trace their pasts and learn how their paths connect.
The game will feature two endings and a soundtrack built around its darker fantasy tone.
