Seed Sparkle Lab has announced that Starsand Island will leave Early Access and launch on August 18 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The cozy life sim has been available in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X|S since February. Its full launch adds online multiplayer, expanded relationship content, and the Autumn Pumpkin Carnival seasonal event.
Online Multiplayer Arrives at Launch
Starsand Island will support online multiplayer for up to four players.
Players can farm, fish, explore the island, fight monsters in ancient ruins, build together, and take part in shared activities. Multiplayer also includes an exclusive currency that can be spent on rewards in the multiplayer shop.
New Relationship Content
The full release adds new three-heart and five-heart relationship quests for 19 NPCs.
The game’s 14 romanceable characters will also receive more dating activities, including picnics, kite flying, and arcade games.
Autumn Pumpkin Carnival Added
Starsand Island will also add the Autumn Pumpkin Carnival at launch.
The seasonal event includes its own storyline, event quests, glowing jellyfish catching, festival pumpkin growing, and special animal feed that lets animals produce candy. Rewards include outfits, makeup, emotes, recipes, furniture, cosmetics, and collectibles.
Physical Editions Open for Pre-Order
Physical edition pre-orders are now open for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
The Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition is priced at $39.99. The PlayStation 5 physical edition is priced at $39.99. Physical copies are set to arrive on November 12.
Starsand Island launches digitally on August 18.
