Saber Interactive’s 3D Realms label and Atmos Games have announced that Twisted Tower will launch on August 18 for PC via Steam. The action-adventure FPS takes players into an abandoned 1950s theme park filled with corrupted fairy-tale mascots, deadly traps, and strange secrets tied to the tower’s past.
Developed by Atmos Games, the studio led by Thomas Brush of Pinstripe and Neversong, Twisted Tower blends theme-park horror with fast FPS combat and dark humor.
A Theme Park Gone Wrong
Twisted Tower sends players through a twisted resort packed with hostile mascots and dangerous attractions. The game includes five major areas: a hotel, a waterpark, a clown casino, a carnival forest, and a space station.
Players will climb higher through the tower while trying to save the person waiting at the top, fighting through strange attractions and story moments along the way.
Weird Weapons and Fast Combat
Combat leans into toy-like weapons with plenty of bite. Players can use gear like a whack-a-mole mallet, rubber-band pistol, dart-firing Tommy Gun, shotgun, chain-gun, sniper slingshot, ray gun, and more.
The game also includes collectible toys that unlock new movement options, such as jumping, dashing, and grappling.
Replayable Paths Through the Tower
Twisted Tower will feature multiple paths through its levels, giving players different routes to take on later runs. Between its weapon upgrades, movement tools, and branching paths, the game aims to keep each climb through the tower feeling a little different.
