Bracer Demo Now Live on Steam for Limited-Time Playtest

Akupara has launched a limited-time Steam demo for Bracer, its upcoming 3D fantasy SHMUP. The demo is available now and runs from July 31 through August 7.

The playtest gives players an early chance to try Bracer’s combat while the team gathers feedback on what works, what needs tuning, and what players respond to most.

A Curse Spreads Across the Land

Bracer centers on a necrotic curse tied to a malevolent bracer worn by someone once familiar.

The corruption has twisted the sacred tree of life into the tree of death, sending undead armies up from its underground tendrils.

Three heroes rise to face the threat: a Knight, a Wizard, and a Bounty Hunter. Each has their own reason for chasing the villain and trying to end the curse.

Shoot, Dodge, Slash, Repeat

Bracer mixes 3D fantasy action with shoot ’em up pressure.

Players will blast, dodge, loot, and slash through waves of enemies, hazards, and projectiles. Forward motion keeps the pressure on, forcing players to keep moving even when the screen gets crowded.

Demo Runs Through August 7

The Bracer demo is live now on Steam and will remain available until August 7.

Akupara plans to use player feedback from the playtest to refine the game ahead of release.
