Shueisha Games and DeskWorks have released a free Chronoscript: The Endless End demo on Steam, giving players an early look at the hand-drawn search action game.
The full game is coming to Steam and PlayStation.
Trapped Inside a Living Manuscript
Chronoscript: The Endless End pulls players into a strange manuscript where its illustrated pages and the space beyond them start to overlap.
The protagonist must move through dangerous areas, piece together the manuscript’s secrets, and find a way forward.
Hand-Drawn 2D Meets a 3D Manor
The demo starts at the beginning of the game and introduces its exploration-focused structure.
Players will move through hand-drawn 2D environments, while also encountering a mysterious 3D-rendered manor. The demo mixes atmospheric exploration, action combat, and story setup, then ends with a boss fight.
Extra Boss Challenge Included
Players who complete the main demo can open Extra: Boss Challenge Battle.
This mode adds a tougher combat challenge and gives players access to extra skills not available during the main demo, offering another way to test the game’s battle system.
