Yotsuba Interactive has signed Escape The Baby Alarm, a psychedelic puzzle game from developer Julie Normann Bjørnskov about the stress, love, and sleep loss that come with becoming a new parent.
A demo for the cozy escape room-inspired game is available now.
Parenthood Turns Into Puzzles
Escape The Baby Alarm takes real parts of early parenthood and turns them into puzzle design.
That includes extreme sleep deprivation, cold coffee, low hygiene standards, and the kind of scattered thinking that can leave shoes in the fridge.
Weird, Calm, and Personal
The game uses a bright pop art style to reflect the half-awake state that comes with caring for a baby on little sleep.
Players will solve odd tasks, deal with small domestic problems, and make choices that reflect emotional overload as much as logic.
Letting Go Matters Too
Escape The Baby Alarm is not only about solving every problem in front of you.
Part of the game’s message centers on stepping back, breathing, and accepting that parenthood changes you. It frames that change as a messy personal reset rather than something you can control with a checklist.
