Final Fantasy Resonance Screenshots Show Returning Heroes & New Content

Square Enix has revealed a plethora of new details about the world of Final Fantasy Resonance, as well as over 60 screenshots that include looks at more returning Final Fantasy protagonists.

A couple of the images show off the Zoldaad Empire — “a powerful military nation and the home of the Fire Crystal,” which may be planning to invade other countries. Another region — Mysidia, the Magiapolis –is described as a “legendary mage city” which many believe fell to ruin, though no one knows entirely for sure. Mysidia also hosts the Ice Crystal. Main characters Jake and Sakura can also be seen, as well as Veritas of the Flame, Veritas of the Earth, and Veritas of the Light; three members of the powerful Sworn Six that want top destroy the crystals.

The gallery of photos also grant a look at the powerful Limit Burst attacks that the game‘s characters can use, and, perhaps most notably, more characters from previous Final Fantasy games that are making an appearance in Resonance as “Visions.” A few of the iconic protagonists include Final Fantasy IX‘s Zidane Tribal, Final Fantasy XII‘s Vaan, and Final Fantasy XVI‘s Clive Rosfield. Finally, some original Visions are present too: Amelia, Camille, Wilhelm, Victoria, and Ayaka, can also be seen.
