Paradox Interactive, Iceflake Studios, and the LEGO Group have announced LEGO Skylines, a cozy city-builder coming to Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The game was revealed during gamescom Opening Night Live with a new announcement trailer.
Start Small, Build Big
LEGO Skylines begins with a single plot of land.
Players will build their first house, grow a neighborhood, and turn it into a larger city shaped by their choices. The game focuses on building, managing, and expanding a city one piece at a time.
Keep the City Running
Players will need to handle basic city needs like roads, electricity, food, and water.
From there, they can add homes, parks, stores, hospitals, museums, sports arenas, bakeries, farms, and other services that raise citizen happiness and city rating.
Customize With LEGO Pieces
LEGO Skylines leans into customization across plots, buildings, and decorations.
Players can shape each area around function, style, or personal preference, giving the city a clear LEGO identity without dropping the management side.
From Iceflake Studios and Paradox
Iceflake Studios is developing LEGO Skylines, with Paradox Interactive publishing.
The studio says it wants to make city-building feel more personal while using its experience with management and simulation games.
