Tetrarchy Studios has announced that Mandated Fate will receive its first public demo on August 17 during Steam Cyberpunk Fest.
The narrative-driven social thriller is set in an alternate 1985, where a technocratic empire rules through control, surveillance, and political pressure.

Mandated Fate puts players in the role of an Imperial Inspector assigned to a murder case that points toward something much larger.
The demo will cover the game’s opening chapter, letting players question suspects, gather evidence, and make choices that shape the story’s progression.
Choices Shape the Case
Mandated Fate focuses on investigation, exploration, and player choice.
Every conversation and clue can change how the case develops. Players will need to decide who to trust, what to report, and how far they are willing to go in service of the Empire.
A Short First Look
The Mandated Fate demo is expected to run around 30 to 60 minutes for a typical player.
It will include a mission tied to a wider political conspiracy, a seamless retro-futuristic city, and both first- and third-person perspectives.
Mandated Fate is now available to wishlist on Steam, with the demo launching on August 17.
