GungHo Online Entertainment America has released a Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter demo on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
The demo gives players an early look at the RPG remake before it launches September 17 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
Demo Progress Carries Over
All progress made in the Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter demo will carry over to the full game at launch.
The Nintendo Switch demo can also be played on Nintendo Switch 2 through backward compatibility.
Estelle’s Story Continues
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter follows Estelle as she searches for Joshua and faces the Enforcers of Ouroboros.
With the country at risk, Estelle steps further into a leadership role while confronting a threat with plans larger than she expected.
New Trailer Available
A new trailer has also been released alongside the demo.
The footage gives fans a closer look at the next chapter in Nihon Falcom’s Trails series and the remake’s updated presentation.
Editions and Pricing
Standard Edition pre-orders are available now at North American retailers.
The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions are priced at $59.99, while the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is priced at $64.99. Players who buy the Nintendo Switch version can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition with a $4.99 Upgrade Pack.
A Season Pass with cosmetic DLC is available separately for $24.99 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam. A Digital Deluxe edition, which includes the base game and Season Pass, is priced at $79.99 on those platforms.
