Publsh has announced Pera Coda as its first published title, partnering with Turkish developer Elyzio on the episodic psychological murder mystery.
Developed by Elyzio’s Falan Studio division, Pera Coda will begin its episodic PC release via Steam in 2027. Additional platforms may follow later.
A Murder Case Pulls Deniz Back In
Pera Coda follows Deniz, a disgraced criminal defense lawyer who becomes involved in what initially seems like a minor murder investigation.
The case soon expands into a conspiracy involving underground figures, businessmen, former celebrities, and people caught between them.
As Deniz investigates, players will also piece together the events behind his own downfall.
Emotions and Personality Affect Your Options
The game combines point-and-click investigation with dialogue choices, puzzles, and psychological storytelling.
Deniz’s emotional state can change which dialogue options and actions are available. Players can use emotions such as anger to approach situations differently.
You can also choose Deniz’s personality traits, including educated, street-wise, sneaky, or sleazy. Those traits can affect how he handles conversations and investigations.
Reconstruct Crime Scenes Inside Deniz’s Mind
A Mental Reconstruction system lets players gather evidence and rebuild crime scenes within Deniz’s mind.
Players can examine clues retroactively and piece together sequences of events while following connections between suspects and locations.
Pera Coda also uses Deniz’s five senses to trigger memories and associations tied to Istanbul and his past.
Choices Carry Across the Story
Dialogue, trust, locations, and other decisions can change relationships and affect later opportunities.
The game will also feature branching conversations and puzzles with multiple solutions.
Its version of Istanbul draws on recognizable locations while using an isometric presentation built around environmental clues and symbolic details.
First Episode Arrives in 2027
Pera Coda will release episodically on PC via Steam, with its first episode scheduled for 2027.
Publsh will serve as the global publisher, while Elyzio and Falan Studio continue development.
