Kojima Productions has confirmed Bill Skarsgård will play the lead role in Physint, Hideo Kojima’s upcoming action-espionage game being published by Xbox.
The studio also released a new Physint poster featuring Skarsgård alongside previously announced cast member Charlee Fraser.
Bill Skarsgård Takes the Lead
Kojima confirmed the casting during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 Broadcast.
Skarsgård and Fraser completed costume fittings, scans, and camera tests earlier this year as production continues.
“I’m delighted to confirm the lead role for PHYSINT will be Bill Skarsgård,” Kojima said. “We are both long-time fans of each other’s work.”
Skarsgård is known for roles including Pennywise in It and It: Chapter Two, Count Orlok in Nosferatu, and Marquis Vincent Bisset de Gramont in John Wick: Chapter 4.
Physint Cast Continues to Grow
Skarsgård joins a cast that already includes Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe.
Kojima Productions announced the first ensemble members during its 10th anniversary event, Beyond the Strand, in September 2025.
Details about the characters each actor will portray remain limited.
Xbox Will Publish Physint
Kojima Productions recently confirmed that Xbox will serve as Physint’s publishing partner.
The companies are already working together on OD – KNOCK, with Physint expanding that relationship into a second project.
Physint marks the third original IP from Kojima Productions. Kojima has described the action-espionage title as the culmination of his 40-year career in game development.
A release date and platforms for Physint have not been announced yet.
