Build a Nation, Shape Its Fate
Project Zircon puts players in the role of a ruler trying to guide a nation through the fallout caused by the return of the Calamity Dragon of the Abyss.
Each run asks players to build and adjust their deck while responding to new events, threats, and the consequences of earlier choices.
Strategy and Administration
Gameplay centers on alternating Strategy and Administration phases.
By playing cards across those phases, players can strengthen their nation, answer new dangers, and push their story toward different outcomes.
Choices Lead to Different Endings
Konami says player decisions can change the direction of each run in major ways.
Those choices can open new paths and lead to multiple endings, forcing players to balance short-term survival against their nation’s future.
Facing the Catastrophic Dragon
The larger goal in Project Zircon is to prepare for a confrontation with the Catastrophic Dragon.
