Rev. NOiR Trailers Detail Story and Combat

Konami has released two new Rev. NOiR trailers, giving players a closer look at the RPG’s story, characters, and strategic action combat.

Lightfall Threatens Humanity

Rev. NOiR follows Asch and Finé, two young heroes brought together by fate as they try to stop lightfall, a deadly phenomenon that kills everything it touches.

As lightfall season approaches, Asch meets Finé and her guard, Diana, in a remote village. Guided by his astral ordinance to “save many people,” Asch joins Finé on a quest to defeat the provitons, mysterious beings believed to be the source of the disaster.

Asch and Finé Lead the Story

Asch is a quiet boy whose meeting with Finé pulls him into the Cessation.

Finé is a young cleric who wields the Rainbow Astria, a power said to bring an end to lightfall. Diana, an Astrian Order soldier from the Holy Capital Garrison, protects Finé as her guard.

The cast also includes Cross, a gunner from the Lysrian City Guards who joins the group as a guide.

Strategic Action Combat

The second Rev. NOiR trailer focuses on combat.

Konami describes the battle system as strategic action, with fighting styles that change based on player decisions. The footage highlights fast battles built around tactical choices rather than simple button-mashing.

Konami Press Start Shows More

Some of the footage debuted during Konami Press Start, where the game’s producer introduced Rev. NOiR’s setting, main characters, and battle system.
