9 R.I.P. sequel is available now on Nintendo Switch, bringing the supernatural otome visual novel to North America and Europe in physical and digital editions. The follow-up continues Misa Isshiki’s story after the endings of 9 R.I.P., with nine returning love interests and new challenges for each romance.
Misa’s Story Continues Across Nine Routes
Following the events of the first game, Misa faces the consequences of choices made during her second year of high school. Depending on the route, she may have to contend with the aftermath of her death or the challenges of a relationship with a supernatural being.
All nine love interests from 9 R.I.P. return with full routes. Heavenly Routes continue directly from the original game’s Heavenly Endings, while Godly Routes offer romantic epilogues to each character’s Godly Ending. Character designer Yuuya also returns for the sequel.
Standard Edition Includes Trading Cards
The physical Standard Edition comes with a bonus pack of nine trading cards featuring the love interests. Each pack includes one randomly selected holographic card and eight cards with a regular finish.
The card pack is included with the Standard Edition at participating retailers and the IFI Online Store while supplies last. A launch trailer also offers a dialogue preview from each of the nine routes.
