Dragon Quest Smash/Grow Adds Dragon Quest IV Event and 5,000 Free Gems

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow is bringing Dragon Quest IV characters into its mobile roguelite RPG through a crossover event running until December 15 UTC. The event accompanies the game’s half-anniversary celebration, which offers login rewards including up to 5,000 free gems.

New Zenithian equipment also joins the game, giving players access to wind-based attacks inspired by the series’ familiar sword.

Dragon Quest Smash Grow Ally Blessings

Dragon Quest IV Characters Assist Through Ally Blessings

The crossover lets you encounter Dragon Quest IV characters and increase their bond levels to earn items and Ally Blessings. These special skills summon characters during stages to support your party with their powers.

A future update during the event will introduce Memoria Skills. To activate one, you’ll need to raise a Character Memory to Rank S and equip it in a starred slot matching its color.

Character Memories obtained during the event can reach Rank S, letting you call on those Dragon Quest IV allies after the crossover ends.

Half-Anniversary Rewards Include Up to 5,000 Gems

Special login bonuses remain available through December 15, offering up to 5,000 free gems.

A separate promotion boosts gold and Adventurer Rank EXP earned from certain stages through November 4. The EXP bonus applies only to players at Adventurer Rank 29 or below.

Dragon Quest Smash Grow Zenithian Set

Zenithian Sword Brings Two Wind-Based Attacks

The newly added Zenithian Sword includes the Coup de Grâce Zenithian Strike, which slices through nearby enemies and deals physical wind damage.

Its Zenithian Blast Enchantment fires six wind-infused blasts on every tenth mighty strike.

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow is available on the App Store and Google Play, with in-game purchases and loot boxes. Check the in-game notices for full event conditions and schedules.
