Gobble Inn is putting Trash Goblin’s Aunty Val in charge of feeding hungry customers—with ingredients pulled straight from a mine. Spilt Milk Studios has announced the cozy mining and cooking game and launched its Kickstarter preview page ahead of pledges opening October 29, 2026.
The run-based adventure sends you into the ever-changing Chasm to gather food, then back to the surface to prepare meals for goblins, lizardfolk, and other patrons.
Mine for Ingredients, Then Experiment With Recipes
Playing as the cantankerous Aunty Val, you’ll use cursed trinkets and tools earned through progression to dig through the Chasm’s caves.
Each descent features different biomes, block types, ingredients, and secrets. Back at the Gobble Inn, you can experiment with your haul to find recipes, feed customers, and build the inn’s reputation.
Spilt Milk describes the game as more action-focused than Trash Goblin while retaining its non-violent approach and emphasis on characters and stories.
Kickstarter Campaign Begins October 29
Spilt Milk Studios is returning to crowdfunding after its community helped support Trash Goblin through development, Early Access, and its full release.
Creative Director Andrew Smith said Gobble Inn aims to carry forward the earlier game’s cozy tone while offering a different kind of experience built around mining runs and cooking.
The Gobble Inn Kickstarter page is live now, with pledges opening October 29.
