ReBlade: The Death Spiral has released its first Steam demo, offering a look at its cyberpunk setting and mechanical creatures inspired by Chinese mythology. Developer ChillyRoom and publisher Spiral Up Games have made the demo available through November 10, extending beyond Steam Next Fest.
You play as a condemned synthetic heroine caught in a cycle of death and rebirth, fighting to understand the forces behind it and find a way out.
Parry Mechanical Beasts and Break Their Guard
Combat asks you to study enemy moves, time parries, and break defenses to create openings for powerful attacks.
The enemies draw on ancient Chinese creatures, reimagined as machine-distorted threats. Your fight takes you from dark underground areas to a neon-lit city as you investigate the cycle’s repetition.
Experiment With Weapons, Chips, and Augments
Weapons, skills, chips, and augments let you develop different builds across runs. Combining them lets you change your fighting style, while additional outfits offer appearance options for the heroine.
ReBlade: The Death Spiral is in development for PC via Steam. The announcement does not include a release date for the full game.
