Rise of Elements has released its first downloadable PC demo for Steam Next Fest. Developer Wicked Fox Games’ debut combines competitive match-three puzzles with champion abilities, RPG systems, and a story about an approaching supernatural threat.
The game is targeting Steam Early Access in late Q4 2026 as a paid release, with additional platforms under consideration.
Choose Champions for Competitive Puzzle Battles
You compete in Argost’s Tournament of Champions, seeking mastery of the elements while confronting the Void’s threat to Aetheron.
Each champion has different moves, strengths, weaknesses, and elemental abilities, adding tactical decisions to the gem-matching battles. Timed, Moves, and Story modes offer different approaches across single-player and multiplayer play.
The downloadable version follows a browser-based trial released during the game’s successful Kickstarter campaign last year.
Trisha Hershberger Voices New Champion Cordelia
The updated game introduces Cordelia, the Enthusiastic Inventor, created in collaboration with streamer and television host Trisha Hershberger, who also voices the character.
Other additions include the start of Ki’s Story Mode adventure, updated leaderboard tracking, and social features to add friends and chat.
Customizable avatars are planned for the full release but are not included in the demo.
Early Access Planned for Late 2026
Wicked Fox Games says player feedback on champions and modes could help inform future expansions.
