Roco Kingdom has launched its first global closed beta on PC and mobile. Approved players can explore the continent of Carosia, team up with friends, and collect creatures called Jinies in the free-to-play multiplayer game from Morefun Studios and Tencent Games.
The “Quack Quack” test includes part of the main story, several multiplayer modes, and more than 210 Jinies to encounter. Among them are two Legendary Jinies and 16 special Chromatic variants.
Collect Jinies and Battle With Friends
Jinies vary in personality, talent, size, color, and specialty. Personality affects a Jini’s stats and behavior, while its specialty provides an individual skill. Bloodline also determines which skills it can learn.
Players can put their teams to work in PvE activities, including Alpha Battles and Blossom Battles, or take on other players in turn-based PvP. The full game is planned to launch with more than 400 unique Jinies.
Explore Carosia Together
The beta supports playing alone or joining friends for available activities. Players can ride Jinies together, visit each other’s homesteads, and explore Carosia as a group. The full game also promises cross-platform parties, farming, and decorating.
Morefun says the free-to-play release will have no pay-to-win mechanics or Jinies locked behind paywalls. Story content will be freely unlockable.
Roco Kingdom is in development for Windows PC, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, and Android, with a global release date to be announced.
