WB All-Star Mayhem is a new free-to-play mobile idle RPG from Kabam that brings together characters from nine Warner Bros. animated series. Limited regional testing begins this November on iOS and Android in select markets, with broader availability to follow.
Developed under license from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the game pairs Batman, Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, Finn, Jake, and other familiar characters against a threat involving Pinky and the Brain.
Brain Gets His Hands on the Universal Remote
The story begins when a mysterious force helps Brain obtain the Universal Remote, a device that lets him access and control televised settings. His plans expand beyond taking over television as he recruits villains, grants them additional powers, and helps them rewrite their stories.
An opposing cast of heroes and villains assembles to stop him. That premise creates room for unlikely teams, putting DC characters alongside Cartoon Network and Looney Tunes favorites rather than keeping each franchise’s cast separate.
Kabam says the game will use 2D animation intended to retain the characters’ recognizable personalities while giving them abilities created for the RPG.
Nine Shows Contribute to the Launch Roster
More than 100 characters are planned for launch, drawn from:
- Justice League Unlimited
- Adventure Time
- Looney Tunes
- Teen Titans Go!
- Animaniacs
- Scooby-Doo
- Steven Universe
- Samurai Jack
- The Powerpuff Girls
Confirmed examples include Batman, Superman, the Teen Titans, Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, Finn, and Jake. Kabam also plans to add characters and settings after launch.
Executive producer Sebastien Goode said the team wants to preserve the casts’ humor and personalities while expanding their combat abilities. The studio describes the idle RPG as a companion game suited to playing anywhere, including alongside the shows that inspired it.
Regional Testing Begins in November
The first testing phase will run in selected markets on iOS and Android. Kabam has not named those regions or announced a global release date.
While the announcement confirms the idle RPG format and crossover roster, it still doesn’t detail team sizes, combat controls, or progression systems.
You can sign up for updates through the official WB All-Star Mayhem website ahead of regional testing.
