Crazy Taxi: World Tour Announced, Bringing SEGA’s Driving Series Back in 2027

SEGA has announced Crazy Taxi: World Tour, an all-new entry in the classic driving action series. Revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, the game is set to launch in 2027.

The reveal trailer features The Offspring’s “All I Want” and brings back longtime series protagonist Axel for a high-speed ride before a mysterious new driver sends him into a global adventure.

Axel Goes Global

Crazy Taxi: World Tour is led by original Crazy Taxi creator Kenji Kanno.

The new story-driven campaign follows Axel as he chases masked villains who steal his beloved taxi. Along the way, players will take on extreme missions and challenges across five cities.

New Maps, Multiplayer, and Customization

Crazy Taxi: World Tour will feature new maps, diverse terrain, and missions spread across five unique cities.

Players can also expect multiplayer modes for local competition and online play, along with new vehicles and customization options to create personalized rides.

For longtime fans, Classic Mode brings back the arcade-style thrills of the original games.

Coming to Consoles and PC

Crazy Taxi: World Tour will launch in 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The game will support Xbox Play Anywhere and is available to wishlist now on Xbox, Steam, and PlayStation 5.
