Pillartide Studios has released the first playable demo for TideBroker as part of Steam Next Fest.
The demo offers players their first hands-on experience with the upcoming narrative RPG, which focuses on diplomacy, political intrigue, and the consequences of every decision. TideBroker is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in Q3 2026.\
A Fantasy World Built on Diplomacy
Set in the fantasy world of Craidoras, TideBroker places players in the role of a faceless envoy tasked with navigating a fragile peace summit between three factions that have spent the last sixty years at war.
Unlike many fantasy RPGs, combat is not part of the equation. Instead, players rely on information, persuasion, and manipulation as they attempt to shape the future of the continent.
Letters, books, overheard conversations, and hidden secrets become the primary tools for influencing negotiations and forging alliances.
Every Choice Reshapes the Future
According to Pillartide Studios, every decision carries long-term consequences.
Players must decide which secrets to expose, which truths to conceal, and which factions deserve their support. The alliances formed throughout the summit can alter the political landscape of Craidoras for generations.
The focus on diplomacy and information gathering creates a different type of role-playing experience where words carry more weight than weapons.
Inspired by Mediterranean Culture
Craidoras has been in development for more than a decade and draws heavy inspiration from Mediterranean history, culture, and storytelling traditions.
The game’s visual style is influenced by Mediterranean shadow theater, using colorful characters and dramatic silhouettes to bring its world and characters to life.
Developed by a four-person team, TideBroker aims to deliver a story-rich RPG centered on politics, culture, and difficult choices.
The TideBroker demo is available now on Steam, with the full game set to launch in Q3 2026.
