Atari has announced that Parkasaurus will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Xbox Play Anywhere on August 5. The dinosaur park management sim is already available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Ontario-based Washbear Studio, Parkasaurus puts players in charge of designing exhibits, raising dinosaurs, managing staff, and keeping guests happy while trying to keep the dinos from causing chaos.
Build the Perfect Dinosaur Park
In Parkasaurus, players create habitats based on each dinosaur’s needs. Terrain, ecology, plant life, elevation, humidity, and exhibit materials all affect dinosaur happiness and park success.
Players can also build out their park with more than 80 items, track guest reviews, and manage staff as the business grows.
Raise Dinosaurs From Eggs
Parkasaurus lets players hatch and raise dinosaurs from eggs into adulthood.
The base game includes 24 dinosaur breeds, while the Sea Monsters and Prehistoric Wonders DLCs add 20 more breeds for players who want to expand their parks further.
Storms, Sabotage, and Dino Breakouts
Park management is not always peaceful. Players will deal with mission-based challenges, seasonal weather, storms, and nighttime eco-sabotage.
Bad dinosaur care can also lead to breakouts, putting park guests in danger and turning a calm day at the park into a mess fast.
Launching August 5
