Gptrack50 has announced that Stupid Never Dies will launch globally on October 21, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC. The studio also confirmed that Sega will co-publish the action RPG and handle global publishing and distribution.
A new trailer was released alongside the announcement, spotlighting Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers, a strange figure that zombie protagonist Davy meets during his descent.
Sega Joins as Co-Publisher
Stupid Never Dies comes from Gptrack50, an independent studio founded by veteran action game developers.
Studio president Hiroyuki Kobayashi said Sega’s support has helped the team bring its first release to players and has given the studio backing for the game’s original systems and global rollout.
Editions and First DLC Revealed
The Standard Edition of Stupid Never Dies will cost $49.99.
The Glorious Idiot Edition will cost $59.99 and includes the full game plus the first DLC, TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack.
The DLC adds five original TickTock Teddies with visual effects and background music remixes. These include Big Head, Chirp Chirp, Festival, Romantic, and Splash, each changing specific effects tied to Davy, Zombie Style, Davy Burst, combat, or level-ups.
Pop-Punk Soundtrack Gets Early Release
Gptrack50 also announced that two theme songs from the Stupid Never Dies soundtrack will arrive on streaming platforms on August 4.
The opening theme, “Stupid Never Dies,” is performed by Davy and Julia. The ending theme, “Restless, Reckless, Never Die, Fearless,” is performed by Davy and centers on his feelings for Julia.
Both tracks will be available through Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and other major streaming platforms.
