Com2uS has officially named its upcoming Gachiakuta game Gachiakuta: Breakout, revealing the title alongside its first gameplay trailer during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 showcase.
Previously announced as Gachiakuta: The Game, the survival action RPG is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Rudo, Enjin, Zanka, and Riyo Enter Combat
The first gameplay footage shows Rudo, Enjin, Zanka, and Riyo in action.
Each character uses different weapons and fighting techniques, giving an early look at how the anime’s cast will translate into playable combat.
The game pairs cartoon-inspired visuals with Gachiakuta’s anime visual identity.
Zanka Takes on Jabber
The trailer also includes a boss battle against Jabber.
Players directly control Zanka during the encounter, dodging aggressive attacks before moving in during openings.
Com2uS says combat will emphasize quick decisions and offensive pressure.
Breakout Becomes the Official Title
The new title replaces Gachiakuta: The Game, the working name used when the project was first announced.
Com2uS says the Breakout name reflects pushing past limits and fighting forward through dangerous situations.
The publisher has also opened an official brand site featuring the logo, gameplay trailer, and additional information.
Coming in 2027
Gachiakuta: Breakout is based on Kei Urana’s manga and its anime adaptation from Bones Film.
The game is scheduled for release in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
