New Blood Interactive and Saibot Studios have confirmed pricing and age ratings for Tenebris Somnia ahead of its October 16, 2026 launch.
The 2D retro survival horror game with live-action cutscenes will cost $24.99 digitally, with a 20% launch discount dropping the price to $19.99 for a limited time.
Faith Owners Get an Additional Discount
Players who own Faith: The Unholy Trinity will receive another discount on top of the launch promotion.
New Blood is also planning regional pricing, with a particular focus on Latin America. The publisher says it will try to keep comparable regional pricing for the console releases.
Bundles with partners including Team17, Critical Reflex, and DreadXP are also planned.
Physical editions are available to pre-order through Lost in Cult, with prices ranging from £29.99 to £59.99 depending on platform and edition.
Tenebris Somnia Rated M and PEGI 18
The ESRB has rated Tenebris Somnia M for Mature for Violence, Blood, Gore, and Strong Language.
The game has received a PEGI 18 rating in Europe.
New Blood also revealed the game’s final key art, created by Dakota Lee.
Retro Horror Meets Live-Action Filmmaking
Tenebris Somnia combines pixel-art survival horror with live-action FMV sequences shot on location in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The live-action scenes use real actors and practical effects, with Andrés Borghi directing the game and cinematics.
Mason “Airdorf” Smith, creator of Faith: The Unholy Trinity, serves as executive producer, while Tobias Rusjan and Saibot Studios handle development.
Lead actress Clara Kovacic stars in the project.
Demo Available Now
A Tenebris Somnia demo is available now on Steam and Xbox Series X|S.
The full game launches October 16, 2026, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
Tenebris Somnia will cost $24.99, with its launch promotion reducing the digital price to $19.99.
