Square Enix has expanded Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy into 38 additional countries and regions across Europe, Asia, Central America, and South America as the mobile game marks its half-anniversary.
The expansion arrives alongside the new Until the Final Curtain season, which adds Final Fantasy IX villain Kuja as a limited-time playable character.
Kuja Joins as a Ranged Character
Kuja is a Wind Element, Ranged Role character built around accumulating bravery.
His Photon Wave ability attacks enemies within a cone-shaped area in front of him, while his Vibrant Soul passive increases his ATK based on how much bravery the player holds.
Kuja’s exclusive UR abilities, Trance and Flare Star, are included in the featured ability draw pool with an increased draw rate through October 27 UTC.
Zidane Gets a Limited-Time Outfit
Zidane will receive the Stellazzio’s Scion outfit beginning October 12.
The costume will remain available through October 27 UTC and can be obtained from the Featured Character Draw using Exclusive Outfit Tickets.
The new season also includes a Login Bonus offering rewards such as Draw Tickets and Growth Eggs.
Final Fantasy Characters Battle in Modern-Day Tokyo
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is a free-to-play 3v3 team boss battle arena game featuring characters from across the Final Fantasy series.
Its original story brings the characters to modern-day Tokyo, with players forming three-character teams for boss battles.
The game also features cel-shaded graphics, full Japanese voice acting, short episodes showing the characters during their daily lives, and ability illustrations created by multiple artists.
