Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse has a playable demo ahead of its October 15, 2026, release. Konami has released the demo on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, letting you play the opening stages and carry your progress into the full game.
Developed jointly by Konami, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin, the 2D search action game follows Rose Belmont, daughter of Castlevania III protagonist Trevor Belmont.
Rose Belmont Takes the Vampire Killer to Paris
Set in Paris in 1499, 23 years after Castlevania III, Belmont’s Curse sends Rose through burning city streets and Dracula’s castle to fight monsters.
Rose wields the Belmont family’s sacred Vampire Killer whip alongside other weapons and skills. The demo offers a chance to try the early stages before the full release later this month.
How Demo Save Transfer Works
Your demo save can transfer to the full game, provided you play on the same platform with the same account. You’ll need to keep the demo save data and update the full game to its latest version before transferring progress.
Midnight Editions and Early Purchase Bonuses
Physical and digital preorders are available now. The Midnight Editions include alternate costumes for Rose, a Digital Sound & Art Gallery, and an in-game relic.
Preordering or purchasing any edition early also grants an additional Alucard-style costume for Rose.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launches October 15, 2026, on PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The demo is available now on all four platforms.
