The first Cozy After Dark Showcase brought together more than 50 game trailers and developer spotlights on October 12, 2026. Presented by Dames 4 Games, Draknek & Friends, and creative agency Continue, the event focused on games that pair unsettling mysteries with quieter, comforting experiences.
The lineup included Tearoom of Terror, Sprkls.exe, Usual June, and Grave Seasons, spanning desktop horror, supernatural adventures, and suspiciously cozy farming.
Murder Mysteries, Desktop Horror, and Ghostly Adventures
Tearoom of Terror appeared in a developer spotlight that explored its tale of murder and intrigue. Meanwhile, Sprkls.exe brought a different kind of unease with its 1990s-inspired desktop horror adventure.
The showcase also offered a new look at the ghostly coming-of-age game Usual June and featured The Darkside Detective: Backside of the Moon.
The lineup also included Gloomy Eyes, Catechesis, Fangtopia, The Doll Shop, Tom the Postgirl, and Welcome to Elderfield.
Developer Spotlights Go Behind the Scenes
Alongside trailers, the event gave developers room to discuss their work. Featured spotlights included Black Tabby Games’ visual novel Scarlet Hollow, Dlala Studios’ hand-painted action-adventure Murals, and Perfect Garbage and Blumhouse Games’ narrative farming sim Grave Seasons.
Spirits of Baciu, Deathly Delights, Apothecurse, Curse of Resthaven, and A Vampyre Story: A Bat’s Tale also received developer spotlights.
Steam Event Runs October 12–19
The showcase kicks off a Steam event running October 12–19, featuring new and updated demos, discounts, and upcoming games to wishlist.
A Cozy After Dark Humble Bundle accompanies the event. The organizers have also partnered with The Yetee on themed shirts and pins.
