Among the Trolls is available now on PC via Steam. Publisher 505 Pulse and developer Avantgarden released the first-person narrative adventure on October 14, 2026, inviting you to investigate a disappearance in a remote Finnish forest.
The game costs $19.99, with a 15% launch discount available through October 27.
Search for Anna’s Missing Grandfather
You play as Anna, who travels from the United States to her grandfather’s secluded cabin in Finland, only to find him missing.
Her search takes her through a remote archipelago, where environmental clues and encounters gradually reveal her family’s history. The setting draws on Finnish folklore and the poetic traditions of the Kalevala, connecting Anna’s personal mystery to the forest’s stories.
Exploration and environmental storytelling drive the investigation, asking you to pay attention to traces and details within the woods and along rugged shores.
Original Soundtrack Accompanies the Launch
Composer Daniele Carmosino’s score combines piano, cello, strings, analog synth, and voice to reflect Anna’s isolation and loss.
The soundtrack also includes “Endless Exile,” featuring vocals by Maria Chiara Argirò and trip-hop influences. You can listen to the soundtrack on major digital platforms, and it is also available on Steam.
Among the Trolls is out now on Steam, with its 15% release discount running through October 27.
