Petal Runner will launch March 8, 2027, on Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. Publisher iam8bit Presents and developer Nano Park Studios announced the Switch 2 version during Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase, alongside a public demo available now on both platforms.
The team also released a new trailer showing the adventure RPG running on Switch 2.
Explore North Valley in the Demo
The demo takes players to North Valley, the game’s second district. This coastal metropolis offers characters to meet, courier jobs to tackle, and minigames to try across its detailed pixel-art streets.
Players can also meet previously unseen HanaPets, the digital creatures at the center of Petal Runner’s delivery business.
Deliver Digital Pets by Motorcycle
Petal Runner follows Cali and their sidekick Kira as they pursue their dream of joining an elite group of motorcycle couriers. They deliver and install a new generation of digital pets throughout a coastal city.
The coming-of-age RPG pairs a solarpunk setting with pixel art inspired by the Game Boy Color era.
