EA has announced that the downloadable demo for Dead Space 2 will release for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on December 21. The single player demo places players in the Church of Unitology and sees Issac Clarke dismembering necromorphs with newfangled weapons like the javelin suit, a fully equipped suit with zero gravity jet boots, and upgraded stasis and telekinesis powers.
Of course, evidence of a PC demo is nowhere in this announcement, instead having their stockings stuffed with coal. Dead Space 2 releases January 25, 2011 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
