The reason the Wii U version of the game was delayed was to give a simultaneous release on all platforms and now is your first chance to experience the game on other consoles.

Originally a Wii U exclusive, Rayman Legends has until this point only been shown on Wii U systems. A demo and leaderboard focused challenge app has been on the eShop for months. Now it’s time for other console owners to get a taste of the gorgeous world that is in Rayman Legends.

The demo includes the same three levels that were in the Wii U demo: Teensies in Trouble, Toad Story and the rhythmic Castle Rock level.

In the Wii U version of the game, halfway through the Teensies in Trouble level players took control of Murphy using the Gamepad to move obstacles and platforms while a computer controlled Globox walked the course. It has yet to be seen how these levels will differ on systems without a touch screen.

Rayman Legends will be released on September 3 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PS Vita.
