Final Fantasy Advent Children Complete re-Dated

After the previous February date that was delayed, (not a surprise coming from Square-Enix but as always their delays make the quality of a game or movie look twice and if not three times as impressive as before) an updated news release on their website and Famitsu have both officially announced the new date of the long awaited as Square-Enix calls it “Beyond High Definition” version of Advent Children to hit in Japan April 16th of this year.

However it’s more then just a release date, Square-Enix has given off information about what to expect. First of all is the normal version which just contains the movie which is 4,900 Yen.   Next is a bundle version with the Trial of Final Fantasy XIII and the movie which is 5,900 yen.  Finally there’s the woppin 49,980 yen version which adds on a “Cloud Black” PS3 that holds up to 160GB. Now here comes interesitng bits. The Movie will be 126 minutes long, Subtitles Japanese only but the Voice over will be featuring full blown Japanese and English voice overs.  The movie will be featured in 16:9 view and there is an included “OVA” that they won’t mention what  it is exactly.

No. Just no. It was a mediocre movie and FF7 now has fallen to new lows due to the amount of milking it has received. I say: Kill it with fire.

Same, but it’s obvious that’s probably why they attached it to FFVIIACC. How else are they gonna manage to sell that movie again? ;p
