Fast & Furious: Takedown Races Into Pre-Registration for Mobile

Universal Games and SMG Studios have announced that Fast & Furious: Takedown, an action arcade-racer based on the immensely popular films, is now available for pre-registration on mobile phones.Featuring more than 60 licensed cars from the films and unique one-thumb controls, Fast & Furious Takedown aims to capture the high-speed essence of the film franchise it’s based on.

Chris Heatherly, Executive Vice President of Games and Digital Platforms at Universal Brand Development commented on the game’s announcement.

Fast & Furious Takedown is an action-packed adventure that evokes what makes Fast & Furious such an unforgettable and enduring franchise. We wanted to deliver a quintessential Fast & Furious experience – one filled with the over-the-top stunts and thrills that fans love from the movies, while being fun, easy to master and appealing to a wide range of fans.

Players can pre-register on the game’s official website, which offers registration for both Apple and Android users. Players who pre-register will receive exclusive rewards when Takedown fully launches, with even more rewards that will be unlocked as more people register.

The rewards are as follows:

“At 250,000 pre-registrations, a unique custom decal will be rewarded to all players once the game is available worldwide, with additional items unlocked at the 500,000, 750,000 and 1 million pre-registration milestones.
