Goosebumps: Terror in Little Creek Scares Up Stealth Adventure on August 29

The next chapter of Goosebumps horror is almost here, and it’s bringing a slingshot. Goosebumps: Terror in Little Creek is a brand-new stealth-adventure game launching August 29, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and it’s set to deliver classic R.L. Stine-style scares in all-new ways.

Developed by PHL Collective and published by GameMill Entertainment, this original Goosebumps tale puts players in the sneakers of Sloane Spencer, a teenager caught in the middle of supernatural chaos in the eerie town of Little Creek. With fog-choked neighborhoods, haunted libraries, and abandoned theaters hiding horrors from the Goosebumps books (and new ones too), the game blends stealth, puzzles, and playful scares into a spooky adventure perfect for long-time fans and newcomers alike.

Classic Goosebumps, Reimagined

Terror in Little Creek promises:

  • A wholly original story set in the Goosebumps universe, filled with mysterious disappearances and chilling town secrets.
  • Familiar frights reimagined for a new generation—including monsters inspired by classic book villains.
  • Stealth-action gameplay lets you sneak past creatures or fight back using your trusty slingshot and clever tricks.
  • Mind-bending puzzles and hidden secrets in detailed, haunted environments.
  • Multiple endings based on your choices, shaping the fate of Sloane and her friends as they uncover the truth behind Little Creek’s curse.

Two Editions, One Nightmarish Summer

The game launches in two versions:

  • Standard Edition ($39.99) – Includes the full base game.
  • Frightmare Edition (Digital-Only, $49.99) – Adds five wearable masks, five VFX-enhanced slingshot skins, a Concept Art Viewer, and a 3D Model Viewer for monsters and characters.

PHL Collective, best known for Ben 10: Power Trip, brings their family-friendly action chops to Goosebumps, while GameMill builds on its lineup of nostalgic and pop culture-infused titles.
