Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, the cozy crafting-and-trading adventure will launch on Nintendo’s hybrid system day-and-date with the game’s 1.0 release on PC later this year.
To celebrate the Switch reveal, the Brisbane-based dev team dropped a new “Day in the Life” trailer spotlighting the adorable open roads, bustling towns, and heartwarming NPC stories that await new players.
From Steam Favorite to Switch Staple
Cozy Caravan originally launched in Steam Early Access to a glowing reception, quickly earning a “Very Positive” rating and taking home Excellence in Sound Design at the 2024 Australian Game Developer Awards. Since then, the game has grown with three major content updates—Harvestvale, Cottonbluff Cove, and Bayside—each adding brand-new characters, quests, and vibes. All of that content will be included on Switch at launch, ensuring new players get the complete Cozy experience from day one.
“Switch has actually always been the goal,” said Creative Lead Dean Ferguson. “We knew this was the perfect platform to let people immerse themselves in the world of a traveling merchant—anywhere, anytime.”
