Indie studio Binary Phoenix and publisher Assemble Entertainment have announced that the pixel-art puzzle platformer Forgotten Fragments will launch on Steam for PC on September 24, 2025, priced at €12.99. With 120 handcrafted levels, epic boss battles, and cooperative play, this debut blends puzzle-solving, platforming, and storytelling into one cohesive adventure.
Two Campaigns, Two Stories
At the heart of Forgotten Fragments are its three protagonists: Enid, Ryder, and Dayen. Each represents a different facet of the game’s themes: memory, loss, and rediscovery. Their stories intertwine across two distinct campaigns, allowing players to piece together the emotional core of the narrative while rekindling light in a shattered world.
From collapsing caverns to shadow-born enemies, every stage introduces a new challenge. Bosses, meanwhile, require both puzzle-solving finesse and quick reflexes, ensuring variety throughout the journey.
Built for Solo and Co-Op Play
Forgotten Fragments is designed for both quick solo sessions and marathon co-op runs. Whether playing alone or side by side with a friend, the game offers a mix of thoughtful puzzle-solving and fast-paced platforming.
Features players can expect:
- 120 handcrafted levels full of puzzles and secrets
- Solo or couch co-op play for two players
- Puzzle-driven boss encounters
- Charming pixel-art visuals
- Spellbinding soundtrack
- Replay value without grind
