Indie studio kopiforge has announced that its Southeast Asia–inspired co-op cooking adventure, SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure will launch digitally on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on October 22, 2025, for $19.99. A special Nintendo Switch Asia Edition will also arrive on October 23.
A Couch Co-op Feast Hits Consoles
First released on PC in May 2025, SEDAP! has been updated and refined based on community feedback. Project director Jay notes that while the PC debut was met with a “rough release,” the team has been steadily working on patches and a major upcoming balancing and QoL update across all platforms before the year’s end.
“I think the game is best enjoyed couch co-op style as we have always envisioned,” says Jay, highlighting why the console version has been so anticipated.
Switch Asia Edition Brings Bonus Content
Published by IndieTech Games and distributed in partnership with Konami, the Switch Asia Edition will include:
- 4 exclusive bonus levels featuring signature dishes from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
- A physical edition with a recipe booklet (10 recipes), a soundtrack download code, and a collectible sleeve (priced at 3,980 yen).

From Student Project to Global Stage
Born from a final-year student project, SEDAP! has since expanded into a full game created by a four-person Singaporean team. The game has already received multiple awards, including Best Student Game at LEVEL UP KL Sea Game Awards 2023 and Best New Game at BIG Festival @ gamescom latam.
As kopiforge notes:
“The word sedap! is a popular exclamation in Southeast Asia, meaning ‘delicious!’ We hope players will enjoy the joy and chaos of our game—and maybe get hungry along the way.”
SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure launches October 22 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, with the Switch Asia Edition following on October 23.
