Epictellers Entertainment has revealed the official Kickstarter trailer for Starfinder: Afterlight, a sci-fantasy, story-rich turn-based RPG set in the Starfinder universe and built on the Second Edition ruleset. The game is scheduled to launch in Early Access on PC in 2026, with its Kickstarter campaign kicking off on October 7, 2025. Players can register their interest now to be notified when the campaign goes live.
A Galaxy in Peril
In Starfinder: Afterlight, players will create their own character and lead a space crew after the mysterious disappearance of their captain. Together, they’ll face enemies wielding both advanced technology and arcane powers while working to prevent total galactic annihilation. The adventure emphasizes not just exploration and combat, but also forging bonds with companions, each with unique personalities, stories, and moral dilemmas.
A Star-Studded Cast
The cast for Afterlight features an impressive lineup of voice talent:
- Carolina Ravassa (Overwatch, Dragon Age: The Veilguard) as Captain Khali, an adventurous and loyal pirate ally.
- Fred Tatasciore as Kole (Soldier).
- Inel Tomlinson as Tycho (Operative).
- Melissa Medína as Lu-323 (Envoy).
- James Alexander as Sterling (Solarian).
Additionally, acclaimed actor Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate 3, Resident Evil Village) is serving as the game’s voice director, ensuring strong performances across the board.
A Crew of Questionable Heroes
The companions of Starfinder: Afterlight are designed to be more than just stat blocks; they’re flawed, compelling characters who evolve through their bonds with the player. From battle-hardened warriors to mysterious envoys, each crewmate contributes to the larger narrative while offering unique combat abilities and moral choices.

The Kickstarter campaign begins on October 7, giving fans a chance to support development and secure exclusive rewards ahead of the game’s Early Access release in 2026. Epictellers Entertainment is developing the game with support from Paizo, the creators of the Starfinder tabletop RPG.
