Koei Tecmo America and developer Team Ninja have released a brand-new demo for their upcoming dark samurai action RPG, Nioh 3, now available on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam. The demo allows players to experience the early stages of the game ahead of its full launch on February 6, 2026.
Explore the Warring States Era Ahead of Launch
The demo offers both solo play and online multiplayer for up to three players, giving aspiring warriors a chance to test their skills in the chaotic Warring States period. Players can create a custom character and dive straight into combat, including a challenging boss encounter against the fearsome Jakotsu-baba.
Save data from the demo will carry over to the full version of Nioh 3, allowing progress made during the trial to continue seamlessly at launch.
Earn an Exclusive In-Game Bonus Item
Players who complete the demo before February 15, 2026 will receive an exclusive in-game bonus item: the Twin-Snake Helmet. This reward can be claimed and used in the full version of the game once it releases. Additional details about the demo experience can be found on the official Nioh 3 website.
Pre-Orders and Special Editions Now Available
Nioh 3 is currently available for physical and digital pre-order. Players can opt for the Digital Deluxe Edition or purchase the Season Pass separately. A Steelbook Launch Edition is also available, which includes the base game and two exclusive bonus DLC packs.
