Cygames has announced Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, a major expansion to its action RPG, launching on July 9, 2026. The title will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Digital editions include a Standard Edition priced at $59.99 and a Special Edition priced at $79.99, while physical editions will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 for $59.99.
Expanded Adventure in the Sky Realm
Set in the floating islands of the Sky Realm, Endless Ragnarok continues the journey of the skyfarers as they venture into the Zegagrande Skydom. Though Astral Lilith’s schemes have been thwarted, new threats emerge as mysterious beings known as the ragnalia signal the approach of an apocalyptic future. With Beelzebub descending upon the region and gateways opening into realms of chaos, the story pushes the skies toward an even darker fate.
Refined Combat and Co-op Gameplay
Building upon the fast-paced, party-based combat of the original release, Endless Ragnarok enhances both solo and multiplayer play. Players can form four-person parties featuring characters with distinct combat mechanics, chaining together link attacks and devastating bursts for high-impact battles. Assist Mode remains available, allowing newcomers to experience the full story without being overwhelmed by complex systems.
Online and offline co-op quests return with greater variety, ranging from intense boss encounters to horde-style survival missions. All content can be played solo or with up to four players, ensuring accessibility for casual players and deep challenges for veterans alike.
Major New Systems and Modes
Endless Ragnarok introduces several new gameplay features designed to extend progression well beyond the main story. Players can now unlock and deploy powerful summons, some of which can be temporarily controlled in battle. Under specific conditions, summons trigger an all-new “primal burst,” adding a dramatic layer to chain attacks.
The update also introduces The Conflux, a new solo-focused mode filled with unpredictable encounters and unique modifiers. Additional co-op quest tiers, new bosses, master traits for advanced character growth, and expanded tactical options further deepen the experience.
Crossplay and Upgrade Options
Four-player online co-op now supports full crossplay across _all platforms, allowing skyfarers to team up regardless of system. Nintendo Switch 2 players can also take advantage of local wireless multiplayer.
Players who already own Granblue Fantasy: Relink can purchase a paid Upgrade Kit on the same platform, carrying over existing save data to continue their adventure without starting over.
Special Editions, Bonuses, and Beta Test
Digital Special Editions include a wide selection of in-game items, while early digital purchases and first-run physical copies will receive bonus items designed to help players through the early and mid-game.
Ahead of launch, Cygames will host a Closed Beta Test focused on crossplay functionality. Participants will be able to try out the newly introduced character, Beatrix, before the release, with entry determined by a lottery.
