Space Sauce Studio and Assemble Entertainment have announced Origament: A Paper Adventure, a whimsical and cozy platformer set to launch on PC via Steam in Spring 2026. An updated demo is now available, giving players a chance to step into its imaginative, origami-inspired world.
Described as a relaxing adventure perfect for fans of Stray, Spiritfarer, and A Short Hike, Origament invites players to become something truly unique: a living letter on a journey across time and continents.

In Origament, players control a lost letter searching for its intended recipient. Along the way, the letter transforms into various origami shapes to navigate the world. It can crumple into a paper ball, float as a paper boat, glide as a paper plane, or slice through the air as a paper shuriken, each form unlocking new traversal abilities.
The journey spans imaginative locations, from soaring above the rooftops of medieval Venice to drifting along peaceful streams in a Japanese forest, trekking through dense jungles, and even navigating the Wild West. An adorable feline companion accompanies the adventure, adding warmth and charm to the unfolding story.
A Cozy World Without Combat
Each level is crafted as a small, self-contained world filled with gentle puzzles, quirky characters, and hidden secrets tucked between paper folds. Rather than combat or danger, Origament focuses on exploration, transformation-based gameplay, and atmospheric storytelling.
