Human Computer has officially revealed its debut title, Ballgame, a golf-inspired physics platformer set to launch on Steam for PC later in 2026. The studio, backed by Makers Fund, is teeing up a chaotic and skill-driven experience that blends arcade spectacle with precision-based gameplay.
In Ballgame, players take control of Dolf, a newly sentient golf ball smashing, bouncing, and grinding through high-stakes tournaments and unpredictable parlor challenges. The concept may sound simple: get from tee to hole in as few shots as possible, but the execution is anything but traditional.
According to co-founder Eliot Garcia Weisberg, the team set out to build something deeply satisfying while leaning into their strengths in art direction, audio design, and narrative. The result is a game that mixes arcade chaos with tight mechanics, aiming to be easy to learn but brutally difficult to master.
Golf Meets Controlled Chaos
Drawing inspiration from golf, pinball, pachinko, skeeball, and other ball-centric games, Ballgame transforms each course into a physics playground. Players will spike off bumpers, grind along rails, float through bubbles, and narrowly avoid spikes, with every shot triggering kinetic chain reactions. Mastery comes from bending the bounce, riding curves, and shaping the roll to maintain control amid the chaos.
Handcrafted levels act as platforming puzzles where precision and timing are just as important as power. The experience is designed to feel both ruthless and rewarding, pushing players to refine their approach shot after shot.
Tournaments, The Parlor, and 99 Ball Personalities
Success in tournaments builds up the player’s “Ballmanac,” unlocking access to the Parlor, an arcade-style hub packed with minigames that blend skill and spectacle. Each Parlor run earns Figment, the in-game currency used for upgrades, customizations, and unlocking up to 99 unique ball personalities.
With its debut project, Human Computer is positioning Ballgame as the first step in a larger creative vision for the studio. The title is now available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its 2026 release.
