A Ridiculous Waste of Time is now available on Steam as a free download for a limited time, developer Ridiculous Games announced. The mini-game collection launched today, April 1, at 10:00 AM PT, with additional platforms and content planned for the future.
The title is a collection of short-form experiences spanning multiple genres, designed for quick play sessions either solo or through local pass-and-play.
Five mini-games available at launch
At launch, A Ridiculous Waste of Time includes five mini-games, each offering a different gameplay style. These include a dice-based digging adventure, a monster-feeding match-3 puzzle game, a rhythm-based DJ competition, a memory-driven burger stacking challenge, and a multi-table blackjack experience.
The collection is intended to provide a variety of gameplay options within a single package, with each game offering its own mechanics, objectives, and challenges.
Designed for quick play and offline access
Ridiculous Games says the collection is designed for short play sessions, with games that can be enjoyed at home or on the go. The title also supports offline play and includes local leaderboards for pass-and-play gameplay.
Additional content is planned post-launch, with the developer confirming that more mini-games will be added over time to expand the experience.
A growing collection of mini-games
A Ridiculous Waste of Time is positioned as an evolving library, with future updates expected to introduce new titles and expand availability to additional platforms.
