Elementallis Launches April 28 on PC, Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox

Elementallis, the retro-inspired action-adventure from Ankae Games, is set to launch on April 28, 2026, at 9 AM PT across PC (Steam, GOG), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox consoles.

After several years in development, including a successful Kickstarter campaign, the top-down adventure is nearing release with a new trailer confirming its launch date.

A retro-inspired adventure with elemental combat

Elementallis draws inspiration from classic 2D Zelda-style games while introducing its own systems centered around elemental magic. Players take on a journey driven by guilt after disrupting the balance of the Elements, setting out to restore harmony to a world in decline.

Combat combines traditional sword-and-shield gameplay with elemental abilities, allowing players to wield powers like Fire, Water, and Electricity to exploit enemy weaknesses and approach encounters in different ways.

Temples, puzzles, and exploration across multiple biomes

The game features eight unique temples, each designed with puzzles, enemies, and boss encounters that test mastery of both combat and elemental mechanics.

Outside of dungeons, players can explore eight distinct biomes, each filled with secrets, upgrades, and characters in need of help. As players progress, unlocking new elemental abilities opens up additional paths and previously inaccessible areas.

A story centered on restoration and self-discovery

At its core, Elementallis focuses on a narrative about healing a broken world and confronting personal responsibility. As players restore the Elements, they will also uncover more about the protagonist’s role in the world’s downfall.
