Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition Has Night Goggles

July 14, 2009 by William Saw Multiplatform 7 Comments

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released in three editions. The Prestige Edition will include a pair of night vision goggles and a plastic head in which to display them. It will be priced at $149.99.

The Hardended Edition, which retails for $80, includes an art book and a voucher for the downloadable re-release of Call of Duty on the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Network. The Prestige Edition will contain all of the above in addition to the nightvision goggles and the plastic head of Soap McTavish.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 comes to Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on November 10. The retail version will be priced at $59.99 which I will be getting because I do not believe in paying a premium for a game.

You're no fun, if I get something, I might get the Prestige Edition. *starts saving up*

  2. DrunkAss says:

That hardened edition is really expensive for what you get, an artwork and a voucher…really? That's like worth $5 extra not $20.

    • William says:

Well the tin casing adds to the price as well, but still not worth it.

      • DrunkAss says:

When I got the hardened version of Devil May Cry 4, it was only £5 more than the normal.

  3. MegaClank says:

I actually have a friend who already paid in full for the Prestige Edition, it's quite ridiculous.

  4. ProjectSora says:

Omg guyz, I always wanted to buy a game that came with night vision goggles. This is a dream come true! Gotta play MW2 with that shit on. Gives you an edge along with turtle beach sound haxxx!

There is something delightful about the charming simplicity of Popcap’s titles, and Plants vs Zombies continues this legacy. Much like Peggle and any of its past franchises, Plants vs Zombies takes a single round to comprehend all of its basic rules. Though it never becomes difficult [...]

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond Review

The original Matt Hazard had the potential to be a great game, good voice work with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Will Arnett. A brilliant backstory and marketing campaign which broke the fourth wall entirely, and the story while thin was entertaining and amusing. The sole problem came in the gameplay department which [...]

SB Plays The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

When the newest entry in the beloved Zelda series was announced earlier this year, people were both excited and skeptical. How well would a train in the Zeldaverse go over with fans? Would the gameplay be a replay of Phantom Hourglass, with its infamously numerous trips through the Temple of the Ocean King?
Now that the [...]
