Gryphline has announced that Arknights: Endfield will receive its next major update, Homecoming, on July 16, 2026. The free half-year celebration update adds the largest main-story map expansion since launch, two new playable Operators, a major AIC system expansion, new activities, and login rewards.
Homecoming centers on the next chapter of the Wuling storyline, as players reunite with Arcane and the people of Wuling to reclaim land lost after the Very Large Rift destroyed the Wuling Science Station ten years ago.
Wuling Gets Two New Maps
Homecoming adds two main-story maps tied to the Wuling arc.
Yinglung Pass serves as the gateway to the sealed territory, where players meet Si, a Feranmut Proxy tied to the final enhancement of Xiranite Nexus. North Wuling Exclusion Zone takes players into a ruined area filled with Blight Miasma, where they must suppress its sources and clear a route for the returning people of Wuling.
The update also adds personal device equipment, new exploration tools, new enemies called Blightshade, and a boss named Alleikhreos, Chiliarch. This fight asks players to use battlefield mechanics to stop certain attacks.
Arcane and Liino Join the Roster
Two new Operators debut in Homecoming: Arcane and Liino.
Arcane is the captain of the Yinglung Special Task Force and the flagship Operator for this update. She is the first caster whose combat form changes based on her Intellect and Will attributes. Her INT form focuses on frequent skills, area damage, and Corrosion, while her WILL form focuses on grouping enemies, stronger debuffs, and spreading Arts Infliction.
Liino, known as the Morning Star of La Fantoma, is an Electric supporter. She uses Vocalist Stance and Cosmovoice Stance to boost attack and healing, giving her a flexible support role across several team setups.
AIC Production Expands
The AIC system gets a major update with gas as a new industrial material state alongside solids and liquids. Players can collect Inergen and Xiragen, convert materials across states, and build new production lines with added machinery, recipes, and technologies.
These changes can shorten factory chains and make layouts denser. Gryphline cited one example where players can produce Xiranite directly from Carbon and Clean Water in an Inergen environment, skipping three intermediate steps.
The update also adds Pyrrolite Component, refined logistics controls, and a new industrial outpost called Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station.
New Activities and Celebration Rewards
Homecoming adds Echoes of War, a permanent seasonal combat mode with rotating stages, three difficulty levels, ratings, and displayable seasonal titles. All Oroberyl rewards can be earned on normal difficulty, while greater difficulties add extra challenge.
Other activities include Heat Rage! Mega Arena!, The Rooted Realm, new Umbral Monument challenges, and six Delver of the Cryptic puzzle maps.
Newer players can also access Wuling early after meeting an early main-story requirement, without disrupting their Chapter One progress.
The half-year celebration rewards include 3,000 Oroberyls, five Basic HH Permits, the free six-star weapon Farsight, 2,000 Oroberyls through in-game mail, 14 Fortune Connect-and-Win attempts, and two seven-day login campaigns that grant five limited HH Permits each.
Arknights: Endfield is now available on PlayStation 5, PC (via the official launcher and Epic Games Store), iOS, and Android.
